Celebrity Poker Stupidity
May. 27th, 2004 11:03 pmSo I caught the current episode of Bravo's Celebrity Poker Showdown tonight. It was interesting, as always. The intricacies of Poker, in which the expert commentators mention in passing that this starting hand of two cards is awful while that one is strong--and they look indistinguishable to me--baffle me, as usual. But what occasions this post is a commercial for next week's episode.
"Veteran James Woods faces off gainst rooke Dule Hill." No other players are mentioned. But five players start each game, and are eliminated one by one until the final two players fight it out for supremacy. So, unless I'm seriously mistaken, Bravo has just spoiled their own new episode! I will know before I ever set eyes on the show next Thursday which three players will be eliminated before the showdown.
Thanks, morons.
