Having this flu sucks

snippy the symptoms of the flu we had include extreme fatigue for two or three weeks afterward. And her source wasn't just whistling Dixie. We both were feeling better yesterday after struggling through our first week of work after the flu. So we ran around like normal.
And today we both woke up feeling worn out even after a full night's sleep. We've been taking it easy today, doing minimal chores. We shopped for the week's groceries together; she cooked dinner and I did (well, am still doing) the laundry. With lots of sitting around resting between brief bouts of action.
It's frustrating. Just a brisk walk leads to a coughing fit, and doing anything more energetic leaves me gasping for breath. I have no stamina right now. When I'm finally able to get back to running (in a week or two, at this rate), I expect I'll have some remedial work to do.
