sinanjuI killed more than 100 people today. Of course, I got killed more than 60 times in the same firefights, so I guess I could have done better.
We had Twoson's birthday party today. As usual, we had a birthday party at Ultrazone, one of the local laser tag arenas. We got a private room, personal pizzas, soda, a birthday cake and two group games of laser tag. It was a blast; I think the adults enjoyed it at least as much as the kids did. We're talking about going back for Friday Frenzy ($15 gets you as many games as you can squeeze into a four hour period from 8 p.m. to midnight).
Twoson got a bunch of Mechwarrior clicks (plastic figures for playing wargames), some some painted figures of another kind, some cash, and a Leatherman belt tool--which he's been duly warned not to take to school lest the Safety Nazis confiscate it and expel him in their hyperventilating paranoia.
The usual gang is sitting at the table nearby, playing Star Munchkin. I'm not playing; I'm kinda burned out on that game. Commentary from the peanut gallery when I mention that I'm updating my LiveJournal, putting words in my mouth:
"Still alive....
They're all sitting over there playing games. I hate them. I hate them so much...."
