sinanju1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine, and why?
Hmmm. Astro-Boy? I thought he was way cool when I was a tiny child. Or Supergirl--mostly because she could fly.
2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?
A kitten or a cat. We had three dogs during my childhood (in succession, not at once). But my mother was steadfastly against having a cat.
3. What's the furthest from home you've ever been?
About 3,000 miles, give or take. I moved from Virginia to Oregon.
4. What's one thing you've always wanted to learn but haven't yet?
How to play the banjo. I love bluegrass music and banjo picking. I have taken lessons, but I had to abandon them when I moved many years ago and I've never gotten back to them.
5. What are your plans for the weekend?
Go home from work a little early, snuggle my Lovely & Talented Wife (she's had a hard week). Watch a new episode of Stargate, netsurf, work on my game and/or write. Game Night tomorrow night. Nothing special, just a nice relaxing weekend.
