sinanju...by whining incessantly about his cold. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! My throat hurts. It hurts a lot! From the small hollow just under one ear all the way around under my chin to the small hollow under the other ear, it's tender and painful. My glands are swollen. My throat hurts all the time and especially when I swallow! Waaaaah!
I also have sinus headache and pressure and feel very low-energy, but those are minor complaints. It's my throat that really bothers me. Waaaah! (It's been a very long time since I had a sore throat this bad, and I'd kind of forgotten just how miserably unpleasant they could be.)
I went to bed at about 11 p.m. last night, which is ungodly early for me (especially since I'd lounged around in bed til 2 p.m. yesterday). So I spent what felt like an eternity lying in the dark trying to get comfortable, trying to get some sleep. I'm sure I must have slept some, but all I remember is tossing and turning and waking up enough to sip some water or take another dose of Advil and Sudafed at 2 a.m., then more tossing and turning. Plus weird obsessive dreams about trying to do...something (I forget what not) just right in the hopes that it would make me feel better; the dreams went on all night long, whenever I was asleep or mostly asleep.
