Didn't do a lot of writing today. Instead, today I...

In other news, I think moving my desk into <user name=snippy>'s den has been a useful change. I really am less distracted during the day, which is good. And the point--along with giving Twoson a chance to have some time alone in the living areas of the house, so he doesn't feel trapped in his room if he wants privacy.
Also, because I can no longer split my attention between the computer and everything else going on in the living room (television or x-box games or wii games, conversations, or just people moving around), I have to choose. And focus on one thing or another in the evening. So I'm more attentive to whatever I am actually doing.
- Signed and returned the contract to publish Fast Friends with Cobblestone Press
- Filled out and returned the Book Information Form for the story (author & story info, blurbs, etc.)
- Wrote a guest blog to be published on February 2nd for promotional purposes
- Arranged to do another guest blog
- Did a few other, smaller promotional tasks (posted to Yahoo groups, etc.)
- Began rereading Strange Attractors, my Nano novel, in order to start revising and expanding it to publishable length. And by "revising" I don't mean extensive rewriting, I mean using my notes from when I wrote the novel to make sure details I changed along the way (names, the setting of the first scene, and so forth) are consistent throughout before I start expanding the story. I changed quite a bit, but only wrote 179 net new words.
- Only minutes ago received an email rejection on Man-Ape from Aurealis (an Australian magazine). It'll go back out tomorrow, but I'm not going to worry about it tonight.
