Jun. 28th, 2003 02:56 pmWe've been working out for a month or so, and we've already noticed an increase in fitness and energy level--and so we're encouraged to keep it up. I've also gotten the running bug again. I used to run way back in college, and I want to try my hand at it again. I tried off and on a number of times since I stopped running in college, but always had difficulties with shin and leg pains.
It wasn't until a few years ago that I learned that running shoes are good for only about six months of continuous use, and then the "spring" is gone. Well...duh. Hello, McFly. No wonder my old running shoes didn't work like they used to and I couldn't run much after that first glorious summer. So I'm gonna try again with new shoes.
