sinanjuI seem to have defeated the gremlins that had been lurking in the install disk that came with our new digital camera (knock wood). My computer monitor is providing proper resolution now--better than before, in fact. I suspect that it wasn't actually running at 1024 x 768 prior to The Episode, but one step below that.
I say that because now that I know its at 1024 x 768 resolution, all the icons are smaller, as is all the text in all the programs. The desktop is effectively much larger. It took a little getting used to, but all the better says I.
Plus, I've managed to get the image transfer, viewing and photo manipulation software installed and working. Yay me! I've been playing it this evening, and I can see how it could become a real timesink if I'm not careful.
