sinanjuI'm sitting here watching The Shadow on DVD. Specifically, the moment where Shiwan Khan (John Lone) emerges from the silver sarcophagus to menace the hapless security guard in the museum.

bruceb once put it to me, "Just the right amount of mystic wierdness." I'm disappointed that it didn't do better at the box office--I'd have loved to have seen more. And while I'm not enamored of Alec Baldwin's politics, or even his acting for the most part, I loved him in this film. But make no mistake--John Lone made this film for me.
