So my Lovely & Talented Wife (hereinafter referred to as LTW) has heard from the garage.  The car stopped working because the distributor cap came off.  It seems that whoever did the last tune-up on the car failed to properly secure it.

I can safely say that I didn't do it.  I wouldn't know a distributor cap if it bit me on the ass.  I've never been interested in learning how to repair automobiles; that's what you pay professionals for.  In this case, however, we didn't have to pay them much at all.  Which is just how we like it.

Actually it turns out one of the screws on the distributor cap was stripped, and the next time we have a tune-up it will have to be replaced. The shop said it would cost $150.

Still, that's in the future.
