this adventurous fellow travels to Australia. While exploring the outback
he contracts a terrible illness. Weak and sick, he struggles back to
civilization (such as it is) to seek treatment. He staggers into the
emergency room of the hospital and collapses, unconscious.
When he wakes up he is lying in a hospital bed, with an IV in his arm and monitors beeping around him. There's a nurse in the room. He looks at her and asks with a brave little quiver in his voice, "Did i come here to die?"
"No," says the nurse, "you came here yesterday!"
