Mar. 20th, 2006 11:39 pmSaturday: I returned from my run. My wife calls from her den, "How did you do?" I replied, "I suck!" The spirit was willing but the flesh was weak. No, strike that. The flesh was willing but the spirit was weak. Or something. Anyhow, it was a bust.
Some days it's like that.
On the other hand, tonight I returned home to demand of my wife, "Who's the man!?" I ran the whole way, the whole time, without flagging. What was the difference? Beats the hell out of me. Maybe it was that I was careful to pace myself at the beginning. Maybe it was because I spent most of my time running toying with story ideas (aka plot bunnies).
My lovely and talented wife has her math final on Wednesday. She's been a studyin' fool.
My lovely and talented wife emailed me a link to news that Futurama is being resurrected. Apparently, in the wake of Family Guy being successfully revivived, Fox has decided that Futurama should get another season. Cool!
I'm thinking of getting my hair colored. I've never done that before, but my lovely and talented wife got hers colored recently. It's only a very subtle violet tint to her dark hair. The hairdresser was unwilling to give her as much color as she said she wanted. (It was her first time visiting that salon and she suspects they weren't sure this middle class, middle aged woman really wanted as much color as she claimed she did.) But she did. So next time--more color.
In the meantime, I may get mine colored too. VIolet also. I'm curious to see what it would look like. My hair was originally medium brown. But we start going gray early in my family, so it's been salt n' pepper for a very long time now, and now is more salt than pepper. I've never colored it because I kind of like it the way it is, but seeing it dark and violet would be interesting, so we'll see.
