Civil War #1 Remix -- Read it!

mightygodking is on my friends list for good and sufficient reasons. And one of them is his 100% on-target mockery of Marvel Comics' "Civil War" miniseries. In this series, a reality-tv superteam tries to capture some supervillains and wind up getting a bunch of innocent kids killed. So the government decides to require all superheroes to register--or else. Needless to say some do and some don't. Which leads to conflict and violence.

The actual Civil War title is utterly mock-worthy. The pro-registration crew are behaving like the worst sort of Nazi scum, the anti-reg sorts aren't a lot better. The writing is appallingly bad, the art is generally poor, and the characters are being assassinated by the writers left, right and center.

Enter mightygodking , who has photoshopped two or three of the issues with highly amusing (and sadly more coherent) narration and dialogue of his own, starting with about the fourth issue. Well, now he has bowed to the relentless pressure of his fans and photshopped the very first issue is here.
