They don't pay me enough to do this job...
Edited to add: that's why I don't do this job. I'm putting words in the mouths of the people involved in the story I linked to....
A friend of mine who works in law enforcement has a term for this kind thing. Naked Sweaty Guy. Sometimes, due to drugs or alcohol or mental illness or some unfortunate combination of the above, guys--and they seem to almost always be guys--just go berserk. Typically their body temperature spikes and they get overheated and are prone to stripping off their clothes. Hence naked and sweaty.
In this state they tend to be invulnerable to reason and remarkably resistance to physical force. Note that the suspect was irrational and hostile, smashed a plate glass window with his fist, doing himself an injury that he apparently either didn't feel or simply ignored, fought the police, fought the police dog, bit through the appliance power cord, and seemed largely immune to injury or pain. Classic naked sweaty guy behavior, despite the fact that this guy wasn't completely naked.
