since I last posted to this journal. But what can I say? Sometimes I have things to say, and sometimes I don't. I worked, [livejournal.com profile] snippy worked. Twoson actually went to school one day last week. [livejournal.com profile] snippy's mother underwent her first gamma knife treatment for her tumors, and may or may not undergo chemo at some point, and [livejournal.com profile] snippy is not surprisingly having a lot of emotional turmoil over her mother's fate, and their relationship (or lack thereof), and what the next year or so will bring.

I've been giving [livejournal.com profile] snippy lots of support, and spending time recharging by netsurfing--but reading, not posting much. That takes more energy than just mindlessly browsing the net. Twoson went down to visit his dad and brother this weekend; he was gone when we got home from work Friday. We were anticipating a stress-free weekend, but alas--that was not to be. We spent most of Saturday embroiled in turmoil and drama precipitated by friends; we worked it out eventually (it was mostly a big misunderstanding with hurt feelings on both sides), but it left us both drained.

We're better today. [livejournal.com profile] snippy just left the house to go meet her ex and pick up Twoson, so she'll be gone for a couple of hours. I'm doing the week's laundry, as usual. And netsurfing, though I've just about used up the internet again...or at least those parts of it that interest me. So maybe I'll watch a DVD. Or read a new book. Or something.
