I'm Blackadder

least for the moment. My experimentation with LiveJournal continues
apace. Now I've uploaded a couple of pictures to serve as icons. I'll
probably keep toying with various possibilities til I get one that I feel
represents me adequately. Currently that's Rowan Atkinson as the Elizabethan
Blackadder.
Or maybe I'll have a bunch of pictures and switch among them as my mood or the focus of the journal entry in question changes.
Why Blackadder? In part because I find Blackadder funny in a cruel sort of way. In part the second because I too sport a goatee-like beard, and I too (like Blackadder and Commander Riker on TNG) look much better with it than without it. All of us look (in my opinion) at least a little goofy without one.
