Disappointment
Oct. 14th, 2017 10:35 pmI've been living here in the Fortress of Solitude for about eleven months now. Occasionally I wandered down to the local Fred Meyer to look over their books. They had a nice selection, including a whole section devoted to SF/fantasy, and another for westerns. I ended up buying a couple of novels and five collections of short stories by Louis L'Amour.
I went down there today to look for more. Well, I guess I was the only one buying them, or at least was among the few. They've reorganized their book sales aisle. It's smaller, with many fewer books, and no SF or westerns at all. So sad.
I didn't leave empty-handed, though. I bought a couple of DVDs. Easy A (with Emma Stone) and Deadpool. As for the Louis L'Amour books? Well, Amazon Prime handled that.
