Where's Van Helsing when you need him?

I have spent all morning, and expect to spend all afternoon at work, struggling to stay awake and active. I feel sleepy and exhausted. The same is true of the lovely and talented snippy, though she's been feeling that way for days now. Clearly a vampire has been creeping about our bedroom of late, skulking around in the darkness, bending over us in the night to lay his loathsome rubbery lips upon us and drain each of us of our precious bodily fluids.

Or...maybe this is the primary symptom of the cold that Snippy has been struggling with for nearly a week, and I have succeeded in catching it from her. Hmm, yes, on sober analysis, that seems marginally more likely. My throat is the slightest bit scratchy, my head feels stuffed full of cotton, my mouth is dry. And I want nothing more than to find some padded horizontal surface and puddle up on it for a days-long nap. Yeah, sounds like Snippy's cold.

Either way, it sucks!
