Nearly Labor Day

sinanju...and there's a chill in the air. Definitely cool tonight. After a rather long spell of heat (overall--it wasn't always hot this summer), the weather feels like it's turned. Doesn't mean it won't get hot again, of course, but definitely cool tonight.
Recovering from a bad cold (or possibly the flu) is a pain the butt. I'm still taking Sudafed and Advil, but I'm mostly over it now. The sinus drainage has moved on to the deep-rattling-cough stage, as usual. And I'm still tired, though not as exhausted as I was earlier. Two days home sick from work, plus a weekend. Losing a weekend to being sick sucks.
Fortunately I arranged a vacation day for Friday, so I get a glorious four-day weekend for Labor Day. Yay me!
